先日、我が家にインドネシアから女子学生の皆さんが、一泊のショートステイで遊びに来てくれました。

夕飯は、みんなでワイワイ 「手巻き寿司パーティー」
「日本のご飯、大好き！」と、食べてくれました。
みんなで庭に出て花火をしたり、ブランコに乗って大はしゃぎ！
我が家の8歳の娘も、お姉さんたちにトランプで遊んでほしくて、英語で一生懸命コミュニケーションをとっていました。お姉さんたちはチャーミングでとても優しく接してくれました。

たくさんのお土産までいただいてびっくり！ インドネシアの素敵な洋服や、ショールやインドネシアの地図まで…
あっという間のショートステイでしたが、国境を越えて心がつながる、思い出になりました。 来てくれて、本当にありがとうございました！インドネシアの皆さん、また遊びに来てくださいね。

We recently welcomed some very special guests to our home—a group of wonderful female students from Indonesia who came to stay with us for a one-night short stay!
For dinner, we had a lively "Temaki Sushi (hand-rolled sushi) party" together. We were so thrilled to hear them say, "I love Japanese food!" as they enjoyed their meal.
Afterward, we all went out into the garden to enjoy some fireworks and had a blast on the swing! My 8-year-old daughter was so eager to play cards with them that she did her absolute best to communicate using her English. The students were so charming and treated her with such kindness.
When it was time to say goodbye, we were so surprised to receive so many wonderful souvenirs! They gifted us beautiful Indonesian clothes, a lovely shawl, and even a map of Indonesia.
Though it was a short stay that went by in the blink of an eye, it became an unforgettable memory where we felt truly connected across cultures. Thank you so much for staying with us! You are always welcome back anytime!
