1日目「暮らし」をつくる！かまど作WS 10/24
〜羽釜ご飯＆出来立て豆腐のスペシャルランチ付き！〜
全3回で完成させる「里山再生かまど作りワークショップ」。
第1回目の10/24(土)は、かまどの土台となる『日干しれんが作り』に挑戦します！
1日目の工程（10/24）
① SUNAO Retreat 奥白浜の周辺から土を運ぶ
② わらと砂をしっかり混ぜ合わせる
③ 木枠の型に詰めて、型をぬいたら…
④ 1ヶ月間、屋根の下でじっくり干して日干しれんがの完成！
泥まみれになりながら手足を動かす肉体労働ですが、汗を流した後に待っているのは、薪火で炊き上げる羽釜ご飯と、出来立ての手作り豆腐ランチ！
自然の中で動かした体に、しみる美味しさです。
お子様にとっては忘れられない一生ものの原体験に。
二拠点生活や里山暮らしに興味がある大人の方にもおすすめです！

Vol. 1: Building a Lifestyle! Kamado (Earthen Stove) Making Workshop – Oct 24 ~ Includes a special lunch with wood-fired hagama rice & freshly made tofu! ~
"Satoyama Revitalization: Kamado Making Workshop" is a 3-part series to build a traditional Japanese earthen stove. For our 1st session on Saturday, October 24th, we will tackle making sun-dried mud bricks, which form the foundation of the stove!
Day 1 Steps (Oct 24)
Transport soil from around SUNAO Retreat OKUSHIRAHAMA
1. Thoroughly mix straw, sand, and soil
2. Press the mixture into wooden molds and slide the molds off
3. Let them dry under a roof or eaves for one month, and the sun-dried bricks are complete!
It’s hands-on physical work where you’ll get covered in mud, but waiting for you after working up a sweat is a delicious lunch featuring rice cooked over wood fires in a traditional hagama pot, alongside freshly made homemade tofu! It tastes unbelievably good to a body that's been active in nature.
For kids, it’s an unforgettable, lifelong formative experience. It is also highly recommended for adults interested in dual-location living or a rural satoyama lifestyle!
